Plain, sprouted or activated?
These flours are milled from whole, unsprouted millets. We also make sprouted millet flours, where the grain is sprouted and dried before milling, and activated millet flours, where it is soaked first.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make soft jowar or ragi rotis?
Millet flours have no gluten, so they don't stretch like wheat. Knead the dough with hot water while it is still warm, pat or roll the rotis gently, and cook them on a hot tawa straight away.
How should I store millet flour?
Millet flours are best fresh. Keep them airtight in a cool, dry place, refrigerate them in hot, humid weather, and use them before the best-before date.
