Dhatu Organics' Wellness Drink Blends are four certified organic beverages rooted in classical Indian nutrition — sprouted grain malts, a seven-spice Ayurvedic herbal infusion, and a curcumin-forward golden latte. Every product is made without additives, preservatives, artificial flavours, or added sugar, and processed using cold-milling or traditional slow-cook preparation to preserve heat-sensitive nutrients. All four blends are gluten-free, vegan, and suitable for daily family use.

Why Dhatu Organics Wellness Blends
- Certified Organic: All ingredients grown without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
- Zero Additives: No added sugar, artificial flavours, preservatives, maltodextrin, or fillers in any product in this collection.
- Sprouted for Better Bioavailability: Sprouting reduces phytic acid — an antinutrient that inhibits mineral absorption — improving bioavailability of iron, calcium, zinc, and magnesium by up to 50%.[1]
- Cold-Milled: Our grain malts are stone-milled with internal air circulation, preserving heat-sensitive B-vitamins, tocopherols, and natural grain enzymes.
- Traditional Formulation: The Kashaya and Turmeric Latte are grounded in classical Ayurvedic culinary tradition, not marketing trends.
- Small-Batch, Mysore-Made: Processed fresh from our Mysore facility. Millets sourced directly from partner farmers in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh for traceable, transparent sourcing.
- Spice Synergy: The Turmeric Latte includes black pepper, whose active compound piperine has been shown to significantly enhance curcumin absorption in human subjects.[2]

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these wellness drink blends certified organic?
Yes. All four products in this collection are certified organic — the raw ingredients are grown without synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilisers, or GMOs. Certification documents are available on request at info@dhatuorganics.com.
Can I have these wellness drinks every day?
Yes. All four blends are formulated for daily use as part of a balanced diet. The grain malts (Ragi Malt and Multi Millet Malt) work well as a breakfast drink or meal supplement — 1 to 2 servings daily. Kashaya can be consumed one to two cups per day. The Turmeric Latte is well-suited as a daily evening ritual. Rotating between the blends through the week ensures a broader range of nutritional inputs from different grain and spice families.
Are these drinks suitable for children?
The Ragi Malt and Multi Millet Malt are traditionally introduced from around 6–8 months of age as weaning foods in thin, diluted form. Both are gluten-free and free from additives — suitable for children of all ages when prepared age-appropriately. Note: Ragi Malt contains almonds; check for nut allergies before giving to young children. Kashaya can be given to children above 5 years in half-strength servings. The Turmeric Latte is suitable for children above 2 years in small doses (¼ tsp per serving). Always consult your paediatrician before introducing new foods to infants under 12 months.
Do these blends contain added sugar, preservatives, or artificial flavours?
No. None of the products in this collection contain added sugar, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, artificial colours, or artificial flavours. Any mild sweetness comes entirely from natural ingredients — cardamom, cinnamon, or the natural sugars present in whole grains and almonds. You may sweeten your drink to taste using jaggery, raw honey, or coconut sugar.
What is the difference between Ragi Malt and Multi Millet Malt?
Ragi Malt blends sprouted finger millet (Eleusine coracana), almonds, and cardamom — making it richer in calcium and healthy fats from almonds, with a naturally creamy, mildly nutty flavour. The Multi Millet Malt blends four distinct sprouted millets (Foxtail, Browntop, Kodo, and Little Millet) with cardamom, offering higher dietary fibre (9.7 g/100g) and protein (10.3 g/100g) — better suited for those seeking a more filling, multi-grain breakfast blend.
What is Kashaya and how does it differ from regular herbal tea?
Kashaya (also spelled Kashaaya or Kashayam) is a traditional South Indian and Ayurvedic spiced decoction made by boiling whole or powdered spices in water for 3–5 minutes. Unlike standard herbal teas — which steep dried plant material briefly in hot water — Kashaya involves extended boiling that more fully extracts volatile oils, oleoresins, and phytocompounds from hard spice matrices (seeds, bark, berries). It is caffeine-free and traditionally consumed as a morning or post-meal digestive wellness drink.
Is Turmeric Latte the same as Golden Milk or Haldi Doodh?
Yes — Turmeric Latte, Golden Milk, and Haldi Doodh all refer to warm milk infused with turmeric and complementary spices, a tradition recorded in Ayurvedic texts for centuries. Dhatu's Turmeric Latte — The Golden Chai — is a ready-to-use blend that eliminates preparation time. It includes black pepper, whose piperine has been clinically shown to enhance curcumin bioavailability significantly.[2] Simply stir into warm dairy, oat, almond, or coconut milk.
Are these blends suitable for people managing blood sugar levels?
All four blends are free from added sugar. The grain malts are made from millets with a naturally lower glycaemic index compared to rice or wheat.[4] Sprouting further moderates glycaemic response. The Turmeric Latte contains Ceylon cinnamon, which has been associated with improved insulin sensitivity in clinical research.[3] These are whole food products — not medical treatments. Individuals managing diabetes or metabolic conditions should consult their physician or registered dietitian for personalised guidance.
Can I use these malts in rotis, pancakes, or baked goods?
Yes. The grain malt powders can replace up to 25–30% of regular wheat or rice flour in chapati dough, pancake batter, or muffin recipes. Beyond 30% substitution, texture may be affected. The Turmeric Latte blend and Kashaya can also be stirred into smoothies, oat porridge, or chia pudding for a spice and antioxidant boost.
Does the Ragi Malt contain nuts?
Yes. Dhatu Organics Ragi Malt contains almonds as part of the blend — Sprouted Ragi, Almonds, and Cardamom. If you or a family member has a tree nut allergy, please check suitability before consumption. The Multi Millet Malt, Kashaya, and Turmeric Latte do not contain almonds, though they are produced in a facility that handles nuts.
How should I store these blends and what is the shelf life?
Store all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Reseal the pack tightly after each use. Shelf life from the date of manufacture — all four products: 12 months unopened. Once opened, consume within 3–6 months for best flavour and nutritional quality. Avoid refrigerating in humid environments as condensation causes clumping; if refrigeration is necessary, use an airtight glass container.
Do you ship across India? What is the delivery charge?
Yes. Dhatu Organics ships to all major pin codes across India. Delivery is free on orders above ₹499.
