Yes. Dhatu Organic Jaggery Powder contains absolutely no sulphur dioxide or any processing chemicals. It is made by traditional open-pan boiling of organic sugarcane juice only.

Can diabetics use jaggery?

Jaggery has a slightly lower glycaemic index than white sugar, but it still raises blood sugar. Diabetics should use it in small quantities and consult their doctor before replacing sugar with jaggery.

Why does colour vary between batches?

Jaggery colour depends on the sugarcane variety and boiling time — it can range from golden yellow to dark brown. This is completely natural and does not affect quality or taste. Chemical jaggery is uniformly yellow because of synthetic additives — natural jaggery varies.

How should I store it?
