Dhatu Organics Neem Oil is pressed from the seeds of the neem tree (Azadirachta indica). It has a strong, garlicky smell and has long been used in India in hair oils, skin-care preparations and as a natural spray for plants.
How to use
- Hair oil: mix a teaspoon with coconut or sesame oil, massage into the scalp and wash after an hour.
- Plant spray: mix 1 tsp neem oil and a few drops of liquid soap in 1 litre of water; shake well and spray on plants in the evening.
- Skin: always dilute with a carrier oil and patch test first.
Safety
- For external use only. Never swallow neem oil, and keep it well out of reach of children.
- Do not use during pregnancy or when trying to conceive, and do not use on babies or young children.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark place. Neem oil may solidify in cold weather; warm the bottle in water to liquefy.
