Dhatu Organics Browntop Millet (Brachiaria ramosa), known as korale in Kannada and andu korralu in Telugu, is a small, traditional millet that is coming back to Indian kitchens. It is naturally gluten-free and fibre-rich, with an earthy, slightly nutty taste.
How to cook
Rinse well and soak for 4–6 hours (browntop is a small, hardy grain and softens best with soaking). Cook 1 cup with about 3 cups of water for 15–20 minutes, rest for 5 minutes and fluff. Use it like rice, or in upma, pongal and khichdi.

Keep airtight in a cool, dry place.
